Multi-way valve

Abstract

A multi-way valve, especially for distributing and controlling the direction of water flow in automatic coffee machines, has a rigid body made of plastic, consisting of an upper housing (1'), in which there are drainage channels (2, 2') and a lower housing (3'), which has at least one inlet channel (4, 4'), wherein in the space between the upper housing (1') and the lower housing (3') there is placed at least one rotatable valve disc (5, 5'), which has at least one through-flow water channel (6) hydraulically sealed with respect to the upper housing (1') and the lower housing (3'), respectively, and which is capable of opening and closing the drainage channels (2, 2') and inlet channels (4, 4') depending on the angle of rotation with respect to the body, wherein an electric motor is attached to the valve body, driving the valve disc (5, 5') via a gear transmission (8, 8'), in which the disc the valve (5, 5') has teeth (9, 9') on its outer circumference,which cooperate with the teeth (10) of the gear wheel (11) placed on the engine axle (12) in order to rotate the disc relative to the body.,
