Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of protecting cultivated plants against snail feeding by remembering negative stimuli induced by direct current.The method of protecting crop plants from snail feeding is based on the fact that the snails' reaction to negative stimuli is created in the following way: on their way towards the protected vegetation, the snails encounter an obstacle under a current of 10 mA and a voltage of 10 V DC, after which, after contact with the obstacle, the snails absorb negative stimuli from the obstacle, which are remembered in the structure of their organism, then as a result of these stimuli, after which the snails withdraw from the protection zone, they leave behind mucus with a changed structure and specific pheromones and cryptosin produced under the influence of negative stimuli, wherein each time the snails approach the obstacle, their defensive reaction increases and the level of remembering the absorbed negative stimuli increases until the snails completely refrain from approaching the obstacle.
