Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for detecting and determining the location of electric traction vehicles on an electrically powered line, implemented using a system based on the analysis of current (I1, I2) and voltage (U1, U2) measurements at the two-sided power supply points of a section. In the system, the main computing unit (GJO) acquires measurement data from a dedicated distributed measurement system or from the existing EAZ automation system of the traction substation or section cabin. Synchronized and time-stamped measurement data is transmitted via a telecommunications network. The system architecture is based on measurement transducers (HVM), programmable logic controllers (CZAT7), measurement concentrators, and the telecommunications network infrastructure. The method consists in using an algorithm in the main computing unit (GJO), based on synchronized measured values of current (I1, I2) and voltage (U1, U2) at the points of double-sided power supply of the section, the presence of an electric traction vehicle is detected and the position is calculated in such a way that: the presence of an electric traction vehicle is determined - track occupancy, using the inequality: |I1+I2|>IT, where IT - threshold current value, intended to insensitize the train detection system to measurement errors at values of the sum I1+I2 close to zero; wherein if: I1+I2>IT it means that the vehicle is in the starting phase on the power supply section; I1+I2 <IT oznacza to, że na odcinku zasilania znajduje się pojazd w fazie hamowania odzyskowego |I1+I2|=<IT, to na odcinku zasilania nie ma pociągu.The train position d% is determined, expressed as the distance of the traction vehicle from substation No. 1 as a percentage of the length of the supply section, using the equation shown in Figure A. Where RT — total resistance of the traction network on the supply section; the train travel direction is determined using the result of the difference: d%(t1)-d%(t2), - where: d%(t1)-d%(t2)>0 - the train is approaching substation 1; d%(t1)-d%(t2)< - the train is moving away from substation 1; d%(t1)-d%(t2)=0 - the train does not change its position; where t1 and t2 are time moments for which t2>t1.
