Composition for a biopolymer film and a method for producing a biopolymer film from the composition

Abstract

The subject of the application is a composition for a biopolymer film with improved mechanical and thermal properties, which contains gelatin with a Bloom degree of 180, casein, glycerin, silica, water, and a plant extract in the form of lavender oil, aloe oil, or aloe extract in a ratio of 10:1. The composition contains, in parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of gelatin, 4.0-5.0 parts of casein, 0.48-0.52 parts of silica, 66 parts of glycerin, 90 parts of water, and 1-10 parts of plant extract. The application also concerns a method for producing a biopolymer film from a composition with the composition specified above.
