Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for stabilizing the operating parameters of a monochromatic light source and a system for implementing this method. The method includes continuous measurement of the temperature of a light source, which is an LED, comparing the measured temperature with a setpoint value, and activating actuators to maintain the temperature at a setpoint level, wherein the LED simultaneously functions as a light source (5) and a light source temperature sensor (5), and the emitter temperature measurement is performed directly inside the light emitter, in the LED's pn junction, by measuring the voltage drop across the light source. The temperature of the LED's housing is stabilized by regulating the temperature of its pn junction and uses the temperature-voltage characteristics of this light source (5) at a constant current to stabilize the temperature of the light source (5).
