Abstract

A connector for connecting composite bars in the form of reinforced bars and smooth bars intended for use in structural systems or for reinforcing concrete structures in the construction, road and mining industries, formed from a threaded fitting (1), characterized in that the fitting (1) has at least two composite bar connections, each of which forms a conical internal socket (2), in which a longitudinally split two-part conical clamping ring (3) is mounted, which from the rear, to realize a conical friction connection, is pressed by set screws (4) that are screwed into frontal sockets (5), each of which in one longitudinally shorter half is formed in the conical clamping ring (3), and in the other longitudinally longer half is formed in the fitting (1) and in which the frontal surfaces of the set screws (4) are supported on the ends of their longitudinally shorter halves.
