Mullion clamp, particularly for mounting an inter-pane mullion to the spacer profile of an insulating glass unit

Abstract

A glazing bar clamp for attaching an internal glazing bar to a spacer profile of an insulating glass unit comprises a base in the form of a plate (2), from which a clamping structure (3) extends in the form of two arms (4) connected together at the end and provided with diagonal clamping lamellas (6). Each arm (4) attached to the plate (2) has the form of an arc with a convexity directed outward from the clamping structure (3). Furthermore, the arms (4) are connected to each other by a cross-shaped internal reinforcement (7) connecting opposite ends of both arms (4). Preferably, the clamp has a stabilizing connector (9) connecting the cross-shaped internal reinforcement (7) to the arms (4) and a resilient fastening element (10) located on the plate (2) on the opposite side of the clamping structure (3).
