Magnetic foil and method for manufacturing magnetic foil

Abstract

The subject of the application is a magnetic foil and a method for producing a magnetic foil, generating a magnetic field with increased magnetic induction on one side of the foil. The magnetic foil has the shape of a cuboidal layer formed of repeating segments (A), composed of two permanently magnetized strips, i.e. a horizontal strip (1) and a vertical strip (2) in the shape of identical cuboids, the longest side of which is directed horizontally, wherein the two opposite, vertical walls with the smallest dimensions of each of these strips (1, 2) have one side twice as long as the other side and all strips (1, 2) have the direction of magnetization (M) along the longer side of this vertical wall and are made of a composite material consisting of grains of 20-50 µm in size, obtained from a magnetically hard material with high coercivity and high remanence, placed in an elastic matrix which is polymerized silicone rubber.The method of producing the magnetic foil consists in first mixing grains of 20-50 µm in size, produced by grinding and sieving sintered iron, neodymium and boron powders Nd2Fe14B, with unpolymerized silicone rubber containing a polymerization initiator in the form of acetic acid, wherein the mixing time should be 10 minutes and the volumetric filling factor of the mixture by the grains should be 70%.
