Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for producing aggregate using bottom sediment and the aggregate produced by this method. The method for producing aggregate is characterized in that ground bottom sediment in an amount of 37% to 55% by weight of dry matter, ground concrete rubble in an amount of 27% to 38% by weight of dry matter, and ash from the incineration of municipal waste in an amount of 9% to 19% by weight of dry matter are homogenized with the addition of CaO in an amount of 4% to 10% by weight of dry matter, and then the whole is granulated, after which the granules are dried, and then the granules are thermally treated in an atmosphere of saturated steam at a temperature in the range of 150°C to 200°C at a pressure of 0.9 MPa to 1.5 MPa for at least one hour.The aggregate is characterized by the fact that it contains ground bottom sediment in the amount of 37% to 55% by mass of dry matter, ground concrete rubble in the amount of 27% to 38% by mass of dry matter, ash from the incineration of municipal waste in the amount of 9% to 19% by mass of dry matter and CaO in the amount of 4% to 10% by mass of dry matter, and is also pressure-thermally treated.
