Detonation initiation system

Abstract

The subject of the application is a detonation initiation system having a body in the form of a sleeve (1), preferably metal and thick-walled, containing an ignition-propelling assembly, mounted in a case (2), preferably thin-walled and metal, containing a striking element, in the socket of which there is an operating explosive charge (3), preferably made of a bursting explosive material, located at a predetermined distance from the striking element driven towards the operating explosive charge (3) by combustion products of the ignition-propelling assembly, characterized in that the striking element is slidably mounted in the sleeve (1) or in the case (2) or partially in the case (2) and the sleeve (1), and preferably has the form of a piston or an assembly consisting of an inner case (4) containing a piston (5) and a charge of explosive material (6), most preferably a bursting explosive material, mounted in the bottom part of the inner case (4),wherein the piston (5) and the explosive charge (6) are in frontal contact with each other. Furthermore, the piston (5) or plunger is held in a fixed position by a locking element, preferably in the form of a pin (7), preferably passing through the rear part of the piston or plunger (5).
