The method of producing an insecticidal preparation based on Brassica carinata seed oil is characterized in that in the first stage, Brassica carinata seeds are flaked - crushed using a roller with a smooth surface, then the flaked seeds are heated to a temperature of 38°C + / - 5% in a kettle with a water jacket or a kettle with heated sheets, then the flaked seeds are pressed on screw presses with temperature control, at a temperature of less than 40°C, and the obtained oil is subjected to sedimentation at room temperature for a period of 1 to 10 days and decanted and filtered on mesh filters or a filter press, and then the pressed oil in an amount of 80% to 95% by weight, preferably in an amount of 90% by weight is mixed with an emulsifier, in particular with ethoxylated castor oil - CAS: 61791-12-6 in an amount supplementing the mixture up to 100% by weight, so that a concentrate of the insecticidal preparation according to the invention is obtained,which, before use, is diluted with water in an amount of 90% - 99% by weight and homogenized. An insecticidal preparation based on Brassica carinata seed oils contains from 1% to 10% by weight of a homogenized mixture consisting of from 80% to 95% by weight of cold-pressed Brassica carinata seed oil and 5% - 20% by weight of an emulsifier, in particular ethoxylated castor oil - CAS: 61791-12-6, and water, preferably distilled, in the balance to 100%.
