Abstract

The subject of the application is a granulated plant growing substrate based on a mushroom cultivation substrate, which contains a substrate from the cultivation of oyster mushrooms and / or lingzhi mushrooms, in the form of straw, optionally containing brewer's grains or wheat bran, preferably mixed with bulk additives and optionally containing molasses, characterized by a granulometric composition in the range of 1 - 14 mm and a compression resistance of >10 N, non-dusting and non-caking. The bulk additives include dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, or a mixture thereof. The application also concerns a method for producing the aforementioned.a granulated substrate for growing plants, which consists in placing a substrate from the cultivation of oyster mushrooms and / or lingzhi mushrooms, optionally containing the addition of brewer's grains or wheat bran, dry or moist, in the disc of a batch granulator and after setting the disc of the granulator in rotation, the granulated substrate is moistened with water or an aqueous solution of molasses, and then preferably loose additives are added, mixing is continued until agglomerates with a compacted structure and spherical shapes are obtained, and then the obtained substrate is dried.
