Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for ecological stabilization of non-cohesive soil of the bottom of a water reservoir and its banks against erosion caused by water flow, consisting in injecting a binding material into the soil, characterized in that the binding material is used in the form of a water-clay mixture with a clay fraction content from 36% to 86% for a soil porosity from 25% to 55%, wherein the binding material in the form of a water-clay mixture is introduced into the bottom layer to supplement the granulometric composition of non-cohesive sediments, under a pressure in the range of 1-7 MPa, wherein the water-clay mixture is introduced using a pushing injection to a depth of injection hm equal to twice the measured erosion depth he in the range from several dozen centimeters to several meters. The injection is performed in two stages: first, the displacement rod is inserted into the soil to the design depth, pushing it sideways. Next, the actual injection is performed with a binder whose volume is continuously monitored. Subsequently, the injection rod is slowly withdrawn while the binder is steadily injected. The method is continued until a stabilized layer of non-cohesive soil is obtained, with a thickness of layer he containing an additional 20% to 30% clay fraction relative to the soil volume.
