Spacer strip for mutually positioning reinforcing bars

Abstract

The subject of the application is a spacer strip (1) for mutual positioning of reinforcing bars, having the form of an openwork pad for reinforcing bars, which is terminated on one side with a clamp (2) and on the other side with a plug (3) of a shape complementary to the said clamp (2), characterized in that the spacer strip (1) has a cross-section similar to the inverted letter "V", i.e.a shape similar to an inverted trapezoid, the upper base of which is smaller than the lower base, and which shape is provided by: an upper support strap (4), which constitutes the upper, smaller base of the trapezoid shape, a number of side arms (5), alternately located on both sides of the upper support strap (4) and having a triangular shape, having additional central reinforcements (6), between which side arms (5) there are triangular recesses, spacer legs (7), located at the ends of the side arms (5), where the lower base of the trapezoid shape is defined by the ends of the side arms (5) with spacer legs (7) and is open, constituting an open part of the cross-section similar to the inverted letter "V".
