Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for modifying a sensor electrode for bioelectrochemical detection and a modified sensor electrode for bioelectrochemical detection. The silicon electrode with a boron-doped diamond (BDD) layer deposited on it is characterized in that it is composed of polydopamine (PDA) anchored to the BDD surface via non-covalent electrostatic and dispersive interactions generated between the dopamine and polyzwitterion units and the substrate during the electropolymerization process.
