Abstract
The subject of the application is a sensor electrode for use in bioelectrochemical diagnostics of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which is characterized in that it is a silicon substrate with a boron-doped diamond (BDD) layer deposited on it, composed of polydopamine PDA and polyzwitterion PZ with ACE2 receptors anchored on the BDD surface by means of non-covalent electrostatic and dispersive interactions generated between dopamine, polyzwitterion, and ACE-2 mers and the BDD substrate during the electropolymerization process, wherein ACE-2 is attached to the electrode surface and bound by PDA-PZ polymers. The subject of the application also includes a method for obtaining a sensor electrode for use in bioelectrochemical diagnostics of the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus and a method for bioelectrochemical detection of the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus.
