Abstract
A central heating heating unit comprises a combustion section and a heat exchanger, where the combustion section comprises a combustion chamber with a grate. Opposite the front wall in the combustion chamber are ceramic plates, between which at least one flue gas flow channel is provided from above the grate to the base chamber of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger comprises a central flue gas channel surrounded by a concentric cylindrical inner wall made of heating medium flow tubes and a concentric cylindrical outer wall made of heating medium flow tubes. Both cylindrical tube walls are mounted in the lower heating medium chamber (2.6) and in the upper heating medium chamber of the heat exchanger. Between the cylindrical outer wall made of heating medium flow tubes and the cylindrical inner wall made of heating medium flow tubes, there is a cylindrical inner space in fluid communication with the flue gas inlet port (3.8) and on the other side with the channel (2.3) exhaust gas inlet and outlet. In the cylindrical inner space, between the outer wall made of tubes and the cylindrical inner wall made of heating medium flow tubes, there are vertical radiator plates (3.5) dividing this cylindrical inner space into vertical channels (3.6). The radiator plates (3.5) contain exhaust gas flow holes (3.7). In each pair of plates (3.5), the exhaust gas flow holes (3.7) are located alternately in the upper part of one plate (3.5) and in the lower part of the other radiator plate (3.5) so that the exhaust gases in the cylindrical inner space flow in a labyrinthine manner, downward in one vertical channel (3.6) and upward in the adjacent vertical channel (3.6).
