The subject of the application is a method for generating a thrust force without blades, especially for applications in ship and aircraft propulsion systems or architectural structures, characterized in that a rotating disc is placed in the external surface of an object so that the external medium is located only on one side of the disc, and as a result of the rotational movement of the disc, the velocity and pressure field of the external medium in the layer near the surface of the disc is changed due to adhesion forces, and the resulting thrust force from the fluid pressure can be transferred to the object.
