Fire-resistant container equipped with an automatic overpressure fire-extinguishing system

Abstract

The subject of the application, shown in the drawing, is a fireproof container equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system operating on the overpressure principle. The fireproof container is characterized in that it is made of a fireproof board based on a non-flammable mineral material with a continuous operating temperature of up to approximately 2200°C, in particular based on silicates, alkaline earth metal oxides, or other mineral composites with comparable thermal and mechanical properties. It also contains an automatic fire extinguishing system inside, consisting of a "U-shaped" hose filled with pressurized liquid / foam or powder. Damage to the high temperature automatically releases the liquid and extinguishes the fire.
