Abstract

The subject of the application is a sensor, a measuring system, and a method for measuring torque in a transducer system. The application concerns contactless measurement of torque and axial stresses using a sensor using a transducer. The measurement system is resistant to external interference, such as magnetic fields and temperature, by analyzing the odd harmonics of the output signal. The sensor in the transducer system contains two ferromagnetic cores—a measuring core (1) and a compensation core (2)—magnetized in opposite directions by a magnetizing winding (3). The measuring core acts as a shaft transmitting the measured load, torque (Ms), or longitudinal stress (Nw). The measurement signal from the measuring winding (4) is proportional to the amplitude of the odd harmonics, which enables precise determination of the torque value or longitudinal stresses in the measuring core (1).
