Abstract

The subject of the application is a cutting mechanism for woodworking machines, in particular a chipper or debarker, having a rotating working drum (1) with blades mounted on its circumference. Natural animal teeth are used as cutting blades (4), which are attached to the working drum (1) by means of at least one pressure plate (3) and screws (2), and a layer of sealing and positioning mass (10) is located between the animal teeth (4) and the working drum (1), in the area under the pressure plate (3).
