Abstract

The subject of the application is a mechanism for removing seeds, particularly from non-standard-shaped peppers, used in a device for removing seeds and cutting fruit or vegetables into pieces, which is characterized in that it has an ejector beam (18) on which are mounted ejector actuators (19) operatively connected to ejectors (20) in the form of rollers. The ejectors (20) are mounted coaxially with respect to the trays (5) of the feeder (6), and the front working surfaces of the ejectors (20) have a shape adapted to the internal geometry of the pepper, while the ejector beam (18) is mounted to the lower beam of the frame (1) of the device in a position opposite to the pressure beam (12), which ensures stable positioning of the pepper during the process of ejection of the seed core in the direction opposite to its positioning axis.Preferably, the working surfaces (21) of the ejectors (20) have a countersink in a conical or cylindrical or spherical shape or shaped like a truncated cone or with a spherical rounding or in the shape of a ball or with a spherical or semicircular or convex surface or a needle.
