Abstract

The subject of the application is a measuring system for reading passive dosimeters with optically stimulated luminescence (OSI) comprising a stimulating light source, a dosimetric material in the form of a sample (OSL), an optical system for separating signals, an optical signal detector, an electronic system for counting electrical pulses from photons, and a control and data recording unit, characterized in that an avalanche diode is used as the optical signal detector. Furthermore, the subject of the application is a method for reading radiation dose using a passive dosimeter with optically stimulated luminescence (OSI).
