Abstract

The subject of the application is a biocidal composite for spraying onto filter materials, used in ventilation and air conditioning filters, providing effective and lasting protection against the growth of harmful microorganisms, including fungi such as Candida albicans and Candida parapsilosis. The invention solves the technical problem of developing a composite characterized by high biocidal effectiveness with a relatively small amount of nanosilver due to the particle size and their monolayer coating of cysteine ​​or homocysteine, which prevents aggregation, as well as the durability of the particles surrounded by this coating, which prevents their release into the environment during filter operation.
