Robotic gripper

Abstract

A robotic gripper comprising a housing with external connection elements and at least two gripping fingers with flexible coatings attached to the housing is characterized in that the housing (1) houses mounting clamps (2) to which gripping fingers (3) composed of two covers (4) and a core (5) are attached, wherein the covers (4) constitute a flexible material (6), the covers (4) of the gripping fingers (3) having internal micro-channels, and the core (5) is filled with a granular material (7), and each gripping finger (3) on the side of the mounting clamp (3) contains three fluid conduits connected to each of the three layers of the gripping finger (3). The subject of the application is also a method of gripping with a robotic gripper comprising grasping an object, transferring the object and releasing the object.
