Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for obtaining a sorbent based on micro- and nanosilica and metal oxides containing cyclitols, characterized in that in a reactor, under anaerobic conditions, silica gel with a grain size of 1.7 to 3.2, preferably 2.5 µm of modified α-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and cyclitols, sodium hydrobromide and degassed distilled water in a mass ratio of 152:18:1:9000 is placed and mixed intensively, then the temperature is increased from 60°C to 120°C, preferably 90°C and the exchange reaction is carried out for 8 to 20 h, preferably 12 h, at pH 8.3 - 8.5, then the reaction product is separated from the post-reaction mixture on a glass frit, washed at least once with toluene and then with methanol, wherein the cyclitol or its derivative is covalently attached to the surface of an inorganic support selected from the group consisting of silica (SiO2), silver oxide (Ag2O), zinc oxide (ZnO), titanium oxide (TiO2) or aluminum oxide (Al2O3),and the cyclitol is myo-inositol or chiro-inositol or pinitol. The application also covers a method for obtaining biocomposites based on micro- and nanosilica and metal oxides containing cyclitols.
