Abstract

The subject of the application, schematically shown in the drawing, is a system and method for deterministic control of decision-making processes using topological verification of signal integrity and cryptographic auditability. A system for deterministic control of an actuator or a physical process in autonomous systems of safety-critical importance, comprising at least one analytical module generating probabilistic decision signals and a separate deterministic decision-making component, characterized in that the deterministic decision-making component is configured to control the actuator in real time by implementing, in each clock cycle of the controller, a sequence of steps including: a) vector normalization and conditioning of decision signals in order to reduce them to a unique vector form consistent with the graph nodes,b) verification of the topological consistency of signal combinations with respect to the structure of the graph of permissible states G=(V, E) stored in memory, performed in guaranteed deterministic time with computational complexity linear with respect to the graph size (O(|V|+|E|)), where nodes represent physical states of the device and edges represent technically permissible transitions, c) calculation of the deterministic value of the logical penalty proportional to the degree of violation of the graph's topological rules, d) deterministic modification of the decision signal's certainty vector by subtracting the calculated value of the logical penalty from the raw values ​​of the vector's components (so-called logits) before the probability distribution normalization stage, e) generation of a signal controlling the actuator or a blocking signal (Veto) in the event of a structural contradiction being detected, f) real-time generation of a cryptographically secured audit record associating input signals with the control decision.
