Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of mining regolith using a mining and sorting platform, in which the platform, in the operating mode, moves in the direction from the bucket wheel (12) to the sorting drum (14), by means of a mining unit (11), loosens the compacted regolith or other mineral raw material, then by means of a specially profiled bucket wheel (12), the loosened material is collected and delivered to a chute or hopper, along which the material slides into a rotating sorting drum (14), in which it is sorted into various fractions, and grains larger than the largest assumed grain size are thrown out of the sorting drum (14).The subject of the application is also a platform for carrying out the method, which is characterized in that the mounting platform comprises at least one frame on which a sorting drum (14), collecting tanks and a collecting chute are mounted on one side, and on the other side a bucket wheel (12) and a mining unit (11), wherein the mining unit (11) is located between the bucket wheel (12) and the sorting drum (14) and is mounted in such a way that during the movement of the platform it is the first to come into contact with the material to be collected, and the bucket wheel (12) is designed to enable emptying the buckets outwards, and is mounted in a way that it can rotate counterclockwise to the direction in which the running wheels rotate, while the collecting chute is mounted in a fixed position relative to the axis of the bucket wheel.
