Abstract

The subject of the application is a heat storage system with a controlled water circuit consisting of a thermally insulated two-chamber water tank (1), in which there is a rigid, sealed thermally insulating partition (2) movable relative to its walls, which divides the water tank (1) into a chilled water chamber (A) and a hot water chamber (B). Outside the water tank (1), the chilled water chamber (A) is connected to the hot water chamber (B) via a circulating pump (3) and a water heater (4). A water supply pipe is connected to the chilled water chamber (A), and a drain pump (5) is connected to the hot water chamber (B) via a drain pipe. Temperature sensors (6.1, 6.2) are located in the pipe draining water from the chilled water chamber (A) and in the pipe supplying water to the hot water chamber (B), respectively, which, together with the circulating pump (3) and the drain pump (5), are connected to a controller (7).It is characterized in that the water tank (1) is in the form of a cylinder, and the partition (2) consists of two rectangular parts (2.1, 2.2) attached on one side to a hinge (8) mounted in the axis of the water tank (1). In the hot water chamber (B), between the parts (2.1, 2.2) of the partition (2), there is a thermally insulating foldable partition (9), dividing this chamber into two sub-chambers (B1, B2). Between the water heater (4) and the hot water chamber (B) there is a manifold (10), which is connected by separate pipes to the hot water sub-chambers (B1, B2), each of which is connected via separate discharge pumps (5.1, 5.2) to the heat exchanger (11), and the latter via a water supply pipe to the chilled water chamber (A). The heat exchanger (11) is connected to the heat transfer medium pump (12), which is connected to the controller (7).
