Heat storage system with a closed water circulation system

Abstract

The subject of the application is a heat storage device with a closed water circuit comprising a thermally insulated two-chamber water tank (1) in the form of a horizontally oriented cylinder or a right prism, in which there is a vertically arranged, rigid, thermally insulating movable partition (2) mounted on guides, sealed against the side walls and horizontally movable, which divides the water tank (1) into a first chilled water chamber (A) and a second hot water chamber (B). Outside the water tank (1), the first chilled water chamber (A) is connected to the second hot water chamber (B) via a circulating pump (3) and a water heater (4). A drain pump (5) is connected to the second hot water chamber (B). Position limiters (6.1, 6.2) of the movable partition (2) are installed in the first chilled water chamber (A) and the second hot water chamber (B). Circulation pump (3), discharge pump (5) and position limiters (6.1, 6.2) of the movable partition (2) are connected to the controller (7). It is characterized in that the second hot water chamber (B) contains a fixed partition (8) with a deflector (9). The discharge pump (5) is connected via a heat exchanger (10) to the first chilled water chamber (A). The heat exchanger (10) is connected to the heat transfer pump (11), which is connected to the controller (7).
