Controlled heat storage device

Abstract

The subject of the application is a controlled heat storage device comprising a thermally insulated two-chamber water tank (1), in which there is a rigid, sealed, and movable thermally insulating partition (2) that divides the water tank (1) into a first chilled water chamber (A) and a second hot water chamber (B). In addition to the water tank (1), the first chilled water chamber (A) is connected to the second hot water chamber (B) via a circulation pump (3) and a water heater (4). A water supply pipe is connected to the first chilled water chamber (A), and a discharge pump (5) is connected to the second hot water chamber (B) via a discharge pipe. In the pipe supplying water to the first chamber (A) of chilled water and in the pipe draining water from the second chamber (B) of hot water, temperature sensors (6.1, 6.2) are placed, respectively, which together with the circulation pump (3) and the drain pump (5) are connected to the controller (7).It is characterized by the water tank (1) being in the form of a vertically arranged half-cylinder. The partition (2) is rectangular, vertically arranged, and attached on one side to a hinge (8) with a vertical axis of rotation, which is mounted in the center of the flat side wall of the water tank (1). The side of the partition (2) not attached to the hinge (8) houses a position sensor (9) for the partition (2), which is connected to a controller (7). The drain pump (5) is connected via a heat exchanger (10) and a water supply pipe to the first chilled water chamber (A).
