Method and device for separating onion rings

Abstract

The solution presented in the drawing is a method and device for separating onion rings from sliced ​​onions. The device and method are applicable in the food industry. The device's design, which includes sliding channels and through-holes and openings, creates a vacuum on the inside of the device, which draws the onion ring to the work surface. On the outside, an ejector device removes the outer onion ring. Because each onion ring is unique and has an individual structure, meaning the number of rings per slice and the width of each ring can vary along its entire circumference, the device individually adjusts the guide positions each time, adapting them to the specific material being processed.
