Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for purifying colored mixtures, especially colored industrial wastewater containing methylene blue and rhodamine B, in particular at a concentration of 1 mg / L to 20 mg / L, comprising a filtration process and an ozonation process, which is characterized in that mechanical filtration and adsorption on a porous adsorbent are carried out in order to attract and retain dye molecules, and a process of ozonation of pollutants with ozone, wherein the filtration is carried out using a fixed filter bed (3), the adsorption is carried out using a porous adsorbent with a specific surface area in the range of 100 m2 / g to 2000 m2 / g, and the ozonation is carried out in the presence of ozone, at ambient temperature and in an aqueous environment with a pH in the range of 4 to 10.
