Abstract

The subject of the application is a computer-implemented method and system for processing information prior to making an executive decision, comprising receiving multiple data streams from heterogeneous sources, representing the data as partial records, and determining, without aggregation, non-concatenation between at least two records. Non-concatenation means the inability to uniquely, deterministically combine data according to established combining rules without introducing additional computational assumptions or violating constraints describing the data. If non-concatenation is detected, aggregation is blocked and a diagnostic signal is generated. The application further covers the generation of a stabilized information state through deterministic canonization, which includes a stable ordering of attributes and records, the elimination of undefined values, and numerical constraints, including renormalization of numerical distributions. The stabilized state and diagnostic signal are passed to an external, deterministic decision-making mechanism; the invention does not involve making an executive decision.
