Device for moving load units

Abstract

The subject of the application is a mobile loading platform (1) enabling automatic movement of cargo units, particularly pallets, along and across the body of a vehicle, container, or warehouse. The platform comprises segments (2) that can be moved relative to each other, a floor with a system of guides and recesses, and a drive system (3), the module of which is at least one robot cooperating with the segment (2) mounting. The application solves the problem of the inability to extract any pallet from the cargo space, particularly when transporting or storing heterogeneous loads and serving multiple recipients. The movement of the segments (2) is implemented in a system with free space left, analogous to a sliding puzzle system, which allows for changing the order and position of the cargo units without the need for prior unloading. The subject of the application also concerns a method for rearranging cargo units on a mobile platform.
