Printer farm control system for additive manufacturing

Abstract

The subject of the application is a system for the automatic operation of a printer farm (2) for additive manufacturing. The system comprises a housing housing at least two printers (2), a manipulator (3) moving within the housing and equipped with a gripper (4) for gripping and moving interchangeable worktables (5), a magazine (6) for worktables (5), an air filtration system (7) with a photocatalytic filter ensuring continuous air purification, and a visual quality control module that compares a print image with a reference image generated based on a digital print model. The system enables continuous operation of the printer farm without operator supervision.
