Stone catcher

Abstract

The subject of the application is a stone trap (1) that has a tank (2) with an inlet (3) and outlet (4), as well as a cleanout (5) closed by a lid (6). The tank (2) consists of a lower part and an upper part, each of which has two flat surfaces in the shape of a semicircle, connected by a semicylindrical surface. The lower part is joined to the upper part so that the tank (2) has the shape of interconnected halves of a horizontally arranged cylinder, the diameter of which is equal to the cylinder's height, created by cutting the cylinder with a horizontal plane containing the cylinder's axis of rotation, rotated in this plane relative to each other by an angle of 90° and connected in this plane. The inlet (3) and outlet (4) are located opposite each other in the flat surfaces of the upper part, and the cleanout (5) is located in the flat surface of the lower part. A reflective-braking partition (7) is mounted inside the upper part.The stone catcher (1) is designed specifically for separating solids from sewage discharged from sewage disposal vehicles into the catchment area.
