Abstract

A coffee machine with a rectangular body (1) comprises a coffee container (2) located in the upper part of the body (1) for storing coffee beans (5) closed at the top with a lid (3), a control panel (8) located in the front part of the body (1), a coffee outlet system (12) located below the control panel (8) and a grinder, a brewing unit, an executive module (10) controlling at least one coffee brewing parameter, which are located inside the body (1), and a drip tray (11) located below the coffee outlet system (12) including a drawer for coffee grounds, in which the lid (3) on its inner side has a barcode scanner (4), the reading head of which is directed downwards towards the inside of the container (2), and a computing module (6) located next to it, processing information obtained by means of the scanner (4) and communicating wired or wirelessly with the executive module (10).
