Microchannel heat exchanger

Abstract

The subject of the application is a microchannel heat exchanger that has a package of parallel horizontal multi-channel tubes (1) for the flow of a cooled fluid (X), between which there are corrugated fins (4) for the flow of a coolant fluid (Y). The first ends of the multi-channel tubes (1) are inserted into a vertical inlet-outlet manifold (2) with a tight horizontal partition (5), in which above the partition (5) there is an inlet stub (8) for the cooled fluid (X), and below the horizontal partition (5) there are two outlet stubs (9) for the cooled fluid (X). The second ends of the multi-channel tubes (1) are inserted into a vertical return manifold (3). Inside the vertical return manifold (3) there is a tube for the flow of additional coolant fluid (Z), the ends of which are led out as additional stubs (13) outside the return manifold (3).
