Abstract
The invention relates to a lift-type aerodynamic component for coupling to the inner surface of the blade, more specifically near the trailing edge of vertical axis wind turbine blades, characterized by comprising a first section (A), a second section (B) and a central fitting zone (C) of the aforementioned sections. At each end of the aerodynamic component there is a rectangular support element adapted to fix said component to the longer edge of a vertical turbine blade. Preferably, the component is fixed by means of screws. The present invention achieves a reduction in drag force, derived from the arc described by the outer surface of the wing profile of the lift-type aerodynamic element having an amplitude of 40°. The aerodynamic component allows for an increase in lift force and, consequently, energy production.
