Abstract
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEFERRED AUTHORIZATION OF DIGITAL CONTENT BASED ON TOKENS AND QR CODES. THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEFERRED AUTHORIZATION OF DIGITAL CONTENT BASED ON THE USE OF STATIC QR CODES COMBINED WITH DIGITAL TOKENS STORED EXCLUSIVELY ON THE SERVER. THE SYSTEM COMPRISES A PERMISSION MANAGEMENT SERVER, A DATABASE OF AUTHORIZED USERS, A PROTECTED CONTENT SERVER, AN AUTHENTICATION MODULE, AND AN ACCESS ACTIVATION MODULE. The generated QR code is static, identical for all users, and does not contain any embedded token, functioning only as a trigger to initiate the validation process. Each authorized user has a unique digital token, previously associated with the server. Reading the QR code leads the user to an authentication page, where their identity is validated through methods supported by the authentication module.Access to protected digital content is only activated after joint validation of the user's identity and the digital token stored on the server. The content remains blocked until this process is complete. The architecture ensures that sharing the QR code is insufficient to allow access, as the code does not contain credentials or reusable tokens. The system also prevents direct or indirect access to the content before validation. The invention allows multiple equivalent static QR codes to be presented on any physical or digital medium, all functioning as identical triggers for the deferred authorization process, without compromising the security or integrity of the validation mechanism.
