Abstract

There is provided an air conditioner in which, in an indoor unit where a plurality of heat exchangers is arranged, sterilization is carried out at low cost, and it is only required that one temperature sensor is provided in one of the indoor heat exchangers. Setting is performed such that different amounts of refrigerants according to a difference between the amount of air passing through a first heat exchanger (14A) and the amount of air passing through a second heat exchanger (14B) are caused to flow thereto and the second heat exchanger (14B) includes a temperature sensor (26a), and the first heat exchanger (14A) and the second heat exchanger (14B) are heat-sterilized by causing the first heat exchanger (14A) and the second heat exchanger (14B) to function as condensers and increasing the temperature to a predetermined temperature.
