CONSTRUCTIONAL ARRANGEMENT APPLIED IN DOUBLE HELICAL SEED MIXER

Abstract

This utility model belongs to the agricultural technology sector and refers, more specifically, to a mixer consisting of a chassis (1), drive unit (2), mixing tank (3), double mixing helix (4), and transport unit (5) designed for the optimization, homogenization, and processing of seeds along with liquid, solid, and pasty substances, thus preparing the seed for planting. The chassis (1) is a rigid structure designed to support the other components of the equipment. The drive unit (2), as shown in Figures 2 and 3, consists of a shaft (2.1) coupled to two bearings (2.2) and a double gear (2.3) connected by a double chain (2.4) to another double gear (2.5) coupled to a bearing (2.6) leading to a mechanical reduction gearbox (2.7), which is finally coupled by shaft (2.8) to the double helix (4). The mixing tank (3) is intended to accommodate the seeds during mixing.Preferably, it should be constructed of carbon steel. The double mixing helix (4), see figure 5, consists of a central helix (4.1) fixed to the shaft (4.2) and an outer helix (4.3).
