Abstract
A soil treatment composition capable of attracting native diazotrophs or other nitrogen-fixing organisms to a desired site. For example, a soil treatment composition might include a combination of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and a nutrient enhancer to attract native diazotrophs to a desired soil site. Treatment compositions can be blended or otherwise combined in a tank prior to, or during, a spraying operation. Once blended, the treatment compositions can be applied to a desired soil site through various methods, such as furrow, 2x2, side-spread, broadcast, or fertigation. After application, these compositions can effectively recruit native diazotrophs, which, in turn, can increase the availability, uptake, and utilization of nutrients.
