Abstract

The disclosed embodiments include a separator configured to remove particulate material and contaminants from a stormwater flow. The separator may comprise a tubular body comprising an inlet chamber and a sump chamber separated by an upper cone; a vertical cylinder extending from the inlet chamber to the sump chamber; a plurality of upward baffles in the sump chamber, wherein the plurality of upward baffles may extend into an inner wall of the tubular body; a plurality of downward baffles in the sump chamber, wherein the plurality of downward baffles may be attached to the vertical cylinder; and wherein the plurality of upward baffles and the plurality of downward baffles may alternate along the length of the vertical cylinder.
