Abstract

The invention relates to a device for correcting bad postures, especially in the case of people immobilized in a wheelchair, with the possibility of producing statistics on their evolution and early detection of bedsores. The device (1) according to the invention comprises ultrasonic / laser sensors (2) fixed by means of a support (3) on a frame (4) of the backrest of a wheelchair so that they can be positioned both horizontally and vertically, a development board (5) which takes data from the sensors (2) and with the help of dedicated software, processes and records them, the development board (5) being placed in a pocket (6) of the backrest of the wheelchair, together with a power source (7), a relay (8) and an electrostimulation device (9) so that, in the event that the software determines that the patient does not have a correct posture, he is warned both visually,by means of a screen (11) placed on the forearm support of the wheelchair, as well as by sound, and subsequently, if it does not straighten, the electrostimulation device (9) is connected which, by means of electrodes (17), placed paravertebral, initiates some preferentially interferential currents generating the involuntary correction of the patient's posture, as well as some temperature-humidity sensors (16) with the help of which the early detection of bedsores in the sitting area is monitored, providing feedback to the patient, on the same screen (11), simultaneously the warnings being transmitted to a smartphone of the patient or the care staff / their member. The statistics provided by the stored data enable doctors to interpret the data and provide a personalized therapeutic plan for the patient's evolution.,
