Abstract

The invention relates to methods for inactivating microorganisms for disinfecting surfaces and biological tissues in a non-invasive manner. The technical result is achieved by simultaneously forming charges of different polarity on the surface of microorganisms. The negative charge is formed by contact interaction with the surface of a negatively charged electrode, and the positive charge is formed by impact interaction with positively charged ions of molecular nitrogen formed in the field of a corona discharge. The technical result is an increase in the surface area subject to inactivating action by introducing an air flow that reduces the volume charge of the current-limiting corona electrode, which can be used to create devices for disinfecting air in rooms, in supply and exhaust ventilation systems for rooms in medicine, pharmaceutical, microbiological, and food industries.
