METHOD, TEST TUBE AND DEVICE FOR PREPARING A COMPOSITION FOR WOUND HEALING

Claims

1. Test tube for preparation of serum with thrombin from whole blood, including: a thixotropic gel located in a test tube and whole blood introduced into the test tube, wherein the thixotropic gel is adapted to separate serum with thrombin from the whole blood introduced into the test tube; wherein the tube is adapted for centrifugation for a sufficient time to release the thrombin serum from the whole blood by means of a thixotropic gel; and The tube does not contain any additives other than the thixotropic gel before the introduction of whole blood; the tube is sterilized and hermetically sealed with the thixotropic gel contained therein.

A tube according to claim 1, adapted for centrifugation at an acceleration of about 1000 g to about 2000 g for a period of time selected from about 20 minutes to about 40 minutes, or at an acceleration of about 1500 g for a time selected from about 25 minutes to about 35 minutes, or at an acceleration of about 1500 g for 30 minutes.

3. A test tube according to claim 1, characterized in that said test tube is a glass test tube.

4. A method for preparing serum with thrombin, which comprises: centrifuging whole blood in a test tube according to paragraph 1 until the serum with thrombin is separated.

5. A test tube according to item 1, characterized in that platelet concentrate is additionally added to said serum with thrombin in a ratio of about 1:1, about 3:1, or about 10:

6. A test tube according to item 5, characterized in that said serum with thrombin and said platelet concentrate are obtained simultaneously.

7. A test tube according to claim 5, characterized in that said serum with thrombin and said platelet concentrate are obtained by centrifugation for from about 8 minutes to about 10 minutes.

8. A test tube according to item 1, characterized in that the serum with thrombin is autologous.

9. The test tube according to item 1, additionally comprising whole blood and serum with thrombin.

10. A device for preparing serum with thrombin from whole blood, comprising: a test tube suitable for centrifugation, a thixotropic gel located in a test tube and whole blood introduced into the test tube, wherein the thixotropic gel is adapted to separate the serum with thrombin from the whole blood introduced into the test tube; and coagulation activator located in a test tube.

11. A method for preparing serum with thrombin, which includes: centrifuging whole blood in the device according to item 10 until the serum with thrombin is separated.

12. Set including: test tube according to item 1 and Phlebotomy instruments.

13. The set according to item 12, additionally including: Double syringe for simultaneous distribution of serum with thrombin and platelet concentrate.

14. The set according to item 12, additionally including: centrifuge for centrifuging the test tube.

15. A device for preparing serum with thrombin from whole blood, comprising: a glass test tube suitable for centrifugation; a thixotropic gel located in a test tube and whole blood introduced into the test tube, wherein the thixotropic gel is adapted to separate serum with thrombin from the whole blood by centrifugation for from about 8 minutes to about 10 minutes; and the test tube is sterilized and hermetically sealed with a thixotropic gel inside it; Moreover, the tube contains only the thixotropic gel and does not contain any other additives until whole blood is introduced into the tube.

16. The device according to item 15, characterized in that the test tube includes a coagulation activator.
