Claims

1. Boron containing: an apical end, a coronal end, and a longitudinal axis running between the apical end and the coronal end; a central portion of the bore surrounding the longitudinal axis and having at least a portion with a non-circular or non-cylindrical profile when viewed in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis; the central part of the bur additionally contains a cutting groove and an apical tip, wherein the apical tip has a round shape at least along the length of the central part of the bur.

2. The bur according to claim 1, characterized in that it is a dental bur, wherein the cutting groove is absent at least in the area of ​​the apical end of the bur.

3. A bur according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the cutting groove is absent at least at the most apical portion of the apical end of the bur.

4. A bur according to any one of paragraphs 1-3, characterized in that the cutting groove is absent from the entire apical end of the bur.

5. A burr according to any one of paragraphs 1-4, characterized in that the non-circular or non-cylindrical profile extends over 50-90% of the length of the central part of the burr.

6. The bur according to claim 4, characterized in that the circular cross-section extends up to 2 mm along the longitudinal axis of the implant from the apical end of the dental bur.

A bur according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the bur is a surgical dental bur, the first cutting edge is equal to the first radial distance from the longitudinal axis, and the maximum external dimension of the central portion of the bur is equal to the second radial distance from the longitudinal axis, and the central portion of the bur has a non-cutting zone defined as the difference between the second radial distance and the first radial distance.

The burr according to claim 8, characterized in that the first cutting edge is equal to the first radial distance from the longitudinal axis, and the maximum external dimension of the central part of the burr is equal to the second radial distance from the longitudinal axis, wherein the second radial distance is greater than the first radial distance.

13. A bur according to any one of paragraphs 1-12, characterized in that the central part of the bur includes a maximum external dimension that is circumferentially displaced around the longitudinal axis when the central part of the bur passes toward the apical end.

14. A set of parts comprising a dental drill according to any one of paragraphs 1-13 and a dental implant.

15. The kit according to claim 14, characterized in that the implant contains a thread, the bur contains a guide thread that extends radially outward from the central portion of the bur, and the guide thread of the bur differs from the thread of the implant in pitch and / or height and / or width.
