Claims
1. An oven (1), in particular a household electric oven, comprising: a body (2) forming a cavity for cooking (3) with an access opening (4) closed by a door (5) connected to the body (2) and movable relative to the access opening (4) between an open position in which it releases the access opening (4) and a closed position in which it closes the access opening (4); a digital camera (6) secured to the door (5) with such an orientation that during at least one section of the door (5) movement from the open position to the closed position, the digital camera (6) is also facing at least the cooking cavity (3), and the orientation of the optical axis (7) of the digital camera (6) and / or the position of the digital camera (6) relative to the cooking cavity (3) change during the specified section of movement; a control system (8) having a signal connection with a digital camera (6) and configured to perform the following functions: using a digital camera (6) to obtain multiple digital images of the interior of the cooking cavity (3) during movement of the door (5) along the direction of travel with different orientations of the optical axis (7) and / or with different positions of the digital camera (6); storing multiple digital images in memory (9); transmitting the stored digital images to a processing module (10) to determine the size of one or more dishes located in the cooking cavity by means of photogrammetric reconstruction based on the digital images.

An oven (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the digital camera (6) is located on the free side (19) of the door (5), opposite the side (21) of the door hinges (5), determined by the axis of rotation of the door (5) relative to the body (2), so that during movement from the open position to the closed position, the digital camera (6) moves from one side of the cooking cavity (3) to the opposite side.

An oven (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, in order to initiate the acquisition of digital images, the oven (1) comprises an electric switch (21) which sets an electric operating signal when the door moves along the movement section from the open position to the closed position.

An oven (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the control system (8) is designed with the possibility of storing a given number of digital images in the memory (9), relating only to the most recent closing movement of the door (5), wherein, at each closing movement of the door (5) in the section of movement from the open position to the closed position, the digital images saved during the previous closing movement of the door (5) are deleted and overwritten by the digital images obtained during the most recent closing movement, wherein the corresponding number of received and stored digital images is equal to or greater than 1, or is in the range from 2 to 20, or in the range from 2 to 10.

An oven (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the position of the digital camera (6) and the orientation of the optical axis relative to the door (5) are stationary, and the position of the digital camera (6) and the orientation of the optical axis relative to the cooking cavity (3) are determined exclusively by the position of the door (5) relative to the housing (2).
6. An oven (1) according to any of the preceding claims, comprising two said digital cameras (6) located at a distance from each other and directed into the same field of view.
7. A food preparation system comprising an oven (1) according to any of the preceding claims and a processing module (10), wherein the control system (8) controls the oven (1) depending on the size of one or more dishes determined by the processing module (10).
8. The food preparation system according to claim 7, characterized in that the processing module (10) determines the position of the digital camera (6) and the orientation of the optical axis relative to the cooking cavity (3), of the digital image depending on the known contour of the oven (1) contained in the digital image.

A food preparation system according to one of paragraphs 7-8, characterized in that the processing module (10) is configured to calculate a three-dimensional contour model, i.e. a three-dimensional shape of one or more dishes located inside the cooking cavity (3), from digital images using photogrammetric reconstruction.
10. The food preparation system according to claim 7, characterized in that the processing module (10) determines the absolute dimensions of the reconstructed three-dimensional shapes of one or more dishes depending on the known dimensions of the oven contours (1) contained in the digital image.

A food preparation system according to one of claims 9-10, characterized in that the processing module (10) is configured to extrapolate a rear view on the side facing the access opening (4) of one or more dishes located in the cooking cavity (3) by symmetrically complementing the shape based on a front view from the side facing the access opening (4), reconstructed from the obtained digital images of the dish.

A food preparation system according to one of paragraphs 9-10, characterized in that the processing module (10) is configured to extrapolate the full shape of one or more dishes located in the cooking cavity (3) in the following ways: selection of the so-called “primitive dish”, which is a basic three-dimensional geometric shape; adapting the orientation and dimensions of the primitive dish to the front part of the three-dimensional contour section of the dish in the cooking cavity (3), reconstructed from digital images.

The food preparation system according to claim 12, characterized in that the processing module (10) is configured to select a primitive dish from a database containing a plurality of different primitive dishes, depending on the determination of the type of dish based on the received digital images.

A food preparation system according to any one of paragraphs 9-19, characterized in that the processing module (10) is designed with the ability to perform the following functions: determining the type of product or material of a dish using software or a product classification database based on the digital images received; determining product density using a density database that links product types to corresponding density values; calculation of the volume of a dish depending on its reconstructed three-dimensional shape; calculation of the weight of a dish depending on its volume and the density of the ingredients; determining the heat capacity of a product using a heat capacity database that links product types to corresponding heat capacity values; calculation of the thermal inertia of a dish based on the mass of the dish and the heat capacity of the product, wherein the control system (8) controls the oven (1) depending on the calculated thermal inertia of the dish located in the cooking cavity (3).

A food preparation system according to any one of claims 7 to 14, characterized in that the processing module (10) is configured to determine the size of one or more cooking containers located in the cooking cavity (3) by means of photogrammetric reconstruction based on digital images; the control system (8) also controls the oven (1) depending on the size of one or more cooking containers determined by the processing module (10).
16. A method for controlling an oven (1) having a body (2) with a cooking cavity (3) which has an access opening (4) closed by a door (5) movably connected relative to the access opening (4) between an open position in which it releases the access opening (4) and a closed position in which it closes the access opening (4), a digital camera (6) mounted on the door (5) with such an orientation that in at least one section of the movement of the door (5) from the open position to the closed position the digital camera (6) also faces at least the cooking cavity (3), wherein the position of the digital camera (6) relative to the cooking cavity (3) varies along said section of movement, and the method includes: A) using a digital camera (6) to obtain multiple digital images of the interior of the cooking cavity (3) during the movement of the door (5) along the movement section with different positions of the digital camera (6); B) storing multiple digital images in memory (9); C) determination of the size of one or more dishes located in the cooking cavity (3) by means of photogrammetric reconstruction based on digital images; D) control of the oven (1) depending on the specific size of one or more dishes.

The control method according to paragraph 16, including: C1) calculation of a three-dimensional contour model of a dish located inside the cooking cavity (3), based on digital images using photogrammetric reconstruction; C2) extrapolation of the rear view of the dish located in the cooking cavity (3); C4) determining the type of product of a dish using software or a product classification database based on the received digital images; C5) determination of product density using a density database that links product types with corresponding density values; C6) calculation of the volume of the dish depending on the reconstructed three-dimensional model of the contour, as well as calculation of the mass of the dish based on the volume of the dish and the density of the products; C7) determination of the heat capacity of a product using a heat capacity database that links product types with corresponding heat capacity values; C8) calculation of the thermal inertia of a dish based on the mass of the dish and the heat capacity of the product; D1) control of the oven (1) depending on the calculated thermal inertia of the dish located in the cooking cavity (3).
18. The control method according to paragraph 16 or 17, including: C 1) determination of the size of one or more cooking containers located in the cooking cavity (3) by means of photogrammetric reconstruction based on digital images; D 1 ) oven control (1) depending on the specific size of one or more cooking containers.
